A UK-led study published in The Lancet Digital Health found that an AI tool analyzing heart MRI scans predicted patients' risk of death slightly but significantly better than experienced clinicians. The tool processed scans in 2-3 seconds per patient, compared to approximately 13 minutes for expert analysis.
