A2 Biotherapeutics Reports Complete Responses in CAR T-cell Therapy for Solid Tumors

A2 Biotherapeutics presented updated safety and efficacy data from its EVEREST-2 and DENALI-1 clinical studies at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. The data included the first reported complete response to CAR T-cell therapy in a patient with non-small cell lung cancer in the EVEREST-2 study, and a complete response in a patient with metastatic anal cancer from the DENALI-1 study. These findings highlight the potential of precision cell therapy for mesothelin-expressing solid tumors.
