Australian-First Program Offers Comprehensive Brain Health Assessments for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury
The University of Wollongong (UOW) has partnered with Aeternal Group to launch the Veteran Brain Health Intensive (VBHI), an Australian-first program designed to assess veterans experiencing symptoms of traumatic brain injury linked to blast exposure. This program, modeled on a best-practice U.S. initiative, aims to provide integrated assessments from a team of specialists, including neurologists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatrists, to inform treatment planning. The initiative seeks to address the fragmented care often experienced by veterans with these complex injuries.
