Iran's IRGC Claims Control of Strait of Hormuz and Retaliatory Strike on US Base

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy has asserted its authority over the Strait of Hormuz, stating that all vessels require permission for passage. The IRGC also claimed to have conducted a retaliatory strike on a US base. This action reportedly followed alleged US military missile launches near Bandar Abbas Airport, which the IRGC deemed a ceasefire violation.
