IDF confirms killing Hamas deputy commander for Gaza City Brigade in airstrike

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the killing of Imad Aslim, the deputy commander of Hamas's Gaza City Brigade and commander of its Zeitoun Battalion, in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip earlier this week. Aslim commanded the battalion during the October 7, 2023, attack and was actively advancing attacks on Israeli troops.
