Palestinian Infant Killed by Israeli Troops in Occupied West Bank; Incident Under Review

Israeli troops killed a seven-month-old Palestinian baby boy on Friday evening after firing at his parents' vehicle in the Tel Rumeida area, south of Hebron City, in the occupied West Bank. The infant's parents were also wounded in the incident. The Palestinian health ministry confirmed the baby's death. Israel's military stated that an initial inquiry found the injured were uninvolved civilians and that the situation is currently under review, noting that soldiers had fired at a vehicle perceived to be accelerating towards them.
