IDF Chief of Staff pledges continued action in Gaza to disarm Hamas; Netanyahu states Israel controls 60% of Gaza and targets Hezbollah in Lebanon

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir affirmed the military's commitment to disarming Hamas in Gaza, stating that the IDF is strengthening operational control and eroding Hamas's power. Separately, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israeli forces control over 60% of the Gaza Strip and are nearing 70% control. Netanyahu also stated that Israeli forces killed 350 terrorists in Lebanon in the past week and uncovered a major Hezbollah underground infrastructure near Beaufort Ridge.
