Russian Missile and Drone Strikes Kill Three, Injure Dozens in Ukraine's Kharkiv Region

Russian forces launched missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's Kharkiv region overnight into June 9, 2026, killing at least three civilians, including a pregnant woman, and injuring more than 20 others. The strikes damaged residential buildings, businesses, and other civilian infrastructure in Chuhuiv and Kharkiv. Ukraine's Air Force reported downing 146 out of 166 Russian drones and two missiles launched during the night.
