Ukrainian forces conducted a significant drone attack on Moscow on June 19, targeting the Kapotnya oil refinery for the second time in a week, leading to its indefinite suspension of operations. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that 76 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down on approach to the capital, with another report mentioning 37 drones intercepted in the afternoon. The strikes caused disruptions and visible black smoke over parts of the city. An 8-year-old girl was killed and 17 others were wounded in the Moscow region during a drone attack on June 18. Fuel rationing has been reported in Moscow due to the damage to the refinery.
