Israeli Airstrikes Resume in Southern Lebanon, Casualties Reported Despite Ceasefire

Israeli warplanes and drones carried out strikes across southern Lebanon, particularly in the Nabatieh area, overnight and into Saturday morning, destroying residential buildings and houses. Israeli artillery also shelled Nabatieh before dawn. At least three people were killed in an Israeli two-pronged raid on the village of Arab Salim, one in Deir ez-Zahrani, and one in Doueir due to a drone attack on a motorcycle. These strikes follow a renewed ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah on Friday, which was immediately tested by continued military activity. Four Palestinians were also killed in an Israeli strike on a residential apartment in Gaza City.
