Russia launches ballistic missile and drone attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, injuring at least six people and causing fires
Russian forces conducted a coordinated overnight aerial assault on Ukraine, targeting Kyiv with ballistic missiles, Chernihiv with attack drones, and Dnipropetrovsk with strikes. At least two people were injured in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, two in Chernihiv, and two in Dnipropetrovsk. Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia used two Zircon/Oniks anti-ship missiles, six Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 142 drones, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting or jamming most of them. Fires broke out in Kyiv and an oil refinery in Russia was hit by Ukrainian drones.
