Russia's Defense Ministry stated that its air defenses intercepted 419 Ukrainian drones overnight across 18 Russian oblasts and Russian-occupied Crimea. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that 56 drones were destroyed while approaching the capital. A drone crash in Yegoryevsk, Moscow region, resulted in the death of a six-month-old child and injuries to two adults and another child. Operations at Moscow's Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports were temporarily suspended. Ukraine typically does not comment on such long-range strikes but has previously indicated that its attacks target military, industrial, and energy facilities supporting Russia's war effort.
