Russia Launches Extensive Missile and Drone Attacks on Kyiv, Resulting in Dozens of Casualties

Russia conducted one of its largest missile and drone assaults on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities overnight, causing at least 22 fatalities and nearly 90 injuries. Ukrainian authorities reported that over 70 missiles and close to 500 drones were launched, striking residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. The Russian Defense Ministry stated the attack was in response to previous Ukrainian drone strikes, claiming to have targeted military and energy facilities.
