NATO announces joint procurement of Saab GlobalEye for new AWACS and other defense capabilities

At the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum in Ankara, 11 Allied nations announced the joint procurement of Saab GlobalEye aircraft to serve as NATO's new Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS).
