Iran's Revolutionary Guard claims new strikes on US military facilities across the Middle East; US CENTCOM boards vessel in Gulf of Oman.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard claimed on July 17 a new series of strikes targeting US military facilities across the Middle East, including bases in Syria, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan. The US military denied these claims. Concurrently, US CENTCOM boarded the M/T Wen Yao in the Gulf of Oman to ensure compliance with the US naval blockade of Iranian ports, which was reinstituted earlier this week.
