The United States launched its sixth and seventh consecutive nights of strikes against Iran, targeting dozens of military and critical infrastructure sites, including bridges, coastal surveillance, air defense systems, and maritime capabilities. Concurrently, Iran retaliated with missile and drone attacks against US-allied nations, including Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan, and a US special operations command center in al-Tanf, Syria. Qatar reported intercepting an incoming projectile with one child injured by falling debris. Kuwait's air defenses intercepted Iranian missiles and drones, which damaged a power station and a water desalination plant. Jordan's military shot down three Iranian missiles. In the Strait of Hormuz, US Marines boarded a commercial vessel to enforce a naval blockade of Iranian ports, while US forces redirected three other commercial ships and disabled one non-compliant tanker.
