Russia launches overnight missile and drone attack on Ukraine, Odesa region targeted

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with seven missiles and 90 drones overnight on July 18, primarily targeting the Odesa region. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted one Kh-59/69 missile and 69 unmanned aerial vehicles, but missile strikes and drone impacts were recorded at 19 locations. A foreign civilian vessel in Odesa port was damaged, injuring four crew members. Overall, Russian attacks killed 11 people and injured 62 across Ukraine over the past day.
