Ukrainian drones targeted a Hydrostalkonstruktsiya steel fabrication plant in Chekhov, Moscow Oblast, and a blackout was reported in occupied Crimea amid overnight strikes on July 28. Russian air defenses were engaged, and Moscow Oblast Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed a Ukrainian drone attack in Chekhov, reporting a residential building was struck. This follows earlier strikes on Belgorod and Rostov-on-Don.
