Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched ballistic missiles at a U.S. base in Jordan and the headquarters of U.S. Central Command, which were successfully intercepted. In response, U.S. and Saudi forces conducted airstrikes on logistics and weapons sites of Iran-backed militias in eastern Iraq, killing at least 20 fighters and wounding 32. These retaliatory strikes followed over 30 drone attacks on U.S. forces and Saudi oil facilities in the preceding 72 hours.
