Russia launches massive missile and drone attack across Ukraine, killing at least eight and injuring dozens

Russia conducted a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine overnight into July 30, 2026, using various missiles and drones, targeting Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and other regions. Ukrainian air defense downed 320 out of 358 aerial assets, but hits were recorded at 20 sites, causing at least eight civilian deaths, including children, and injuring dozens. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed the strikes targeted Ukrainian military production facilities and Black Sea cargo ships.
