US Central Command Strikes Dozens of Iranian Targets in Retaliation for Missile Attack on US Forces

US Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted a 'heavy wave of strikes' on dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets in Iran, including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, and coastal defense sites. This was in response to an attempted Iranian ballistic missile attack on US forces in Jordan on July 28, which was successfully intercepted. Iran confirmed three IRGC members were killed in the strikes.
