Iran claims to shoot down US MQ-9 drone over Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its air defense systems intercepted and shot down a US-made MQ-9 drone over the strategic Strait of Hormuz. There was no immediate comment from the US.
