Russia launches large-scale drone attack on Ukraine, causing casualties and damage

Overnight into August 4, Russia launched 215 drones against Ukraine, with Ukrainian air defenses neutralizing 189. 24 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) struck 13 locations, causing damage to residential buildings and vehicles in Dnipro. In Zaporizhzhia, a Russian strike on a rail yard killed an assistant driver and hospitalized the driver. In Kharkiv, a drone hit a high-rise building injuring two people, and in the village of Vasyshcheve, six people including a child were injured by drone debris. A Russian drone strike on a minibus in Kherson killed two people and injured seven passengers, while three people were injured in Pavlohrad.
