Taiwan announces Han Kuang war games to test relocating arms production under Chinese attack

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense announced annual Han Kuang war games, scheduled for August 5–14, will simulate wartime relocation of weapons production lines and convert civilian factories to sustain combat operations if Chinese attacks hit supply hubs. The drills will also deliberately slow mobile internet speeds to test civilian communications under constrained bandwidth and involve joint Navy and Coast Guard exercises to secure shipping lanes and protect critical supplies.
