Ukraine strikes Russian oil facilities and Black Sea vessels; Russia launches extensive missile and drone attacks on Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed strikes on oil refineries in Russia's Bashkortostan and Yaroslavl regions, and two military patrol boats in the Black Sea. Russia responded with four missiles and 101 long-range strike drones, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 66 drones. The attacks resulted in civilian casualties across Ukraine, including three killed in the Kharkiv region and multiple injured in Sumy, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia. Ukraine is also accelerating the development of its own ballistic missiles and anti-ballistic defense system.
