Pentagon Urges US Arms Firms to Accelerate Production Amid Acute Shortage Due to Iran War

The U.S. Defense Department has requested American defense companies to significantly boost their production and delivery of weapons, citing an acute shortage of arms due to the ongoing conflict with Iran. Deputy Defense Secretary Steve Feinberg reportedly gave firms a maximum of 21 days to present plans for faster delivery schedules and increased production of critical capabilities.
