Taiwan tracks 18 Chinese military aircraft, 14 ships

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense reported tracking 18 Chinese military aircraft, 11 naval vessels, and three official ships around Taiwan between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday. Fifteen of the aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait median line. Taiwan responded by deploying its own aircraft, naval ships, and coastal-based missile systems for monitoring.
