Iran Retaliates with Missile and Drone Attacks on U.S. Bases in Jordan and UAE

In response to U.S. strikes, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have launched missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. military bases in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Jordan's armed forces confirmed intercepting eight missiles that entered its airspace on Monday, August 31, 2026. The UAE also reported intercepting an Iranian drone over its territorial waters. The IRGC stated its strikes caused significant damage to technical infrastructure and fighter jet deployment sites at the Jordanian bases.
