China's PLA conducts combat readiness patrols with live missiles around disputed Huangyan Dao

Naval and air units of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command (STC) conducted combat readiness patrols on Wednesday in the territorial sea and airspace of China's Huangyan Dao (Scarborough Shoal) and its surrounding areas. Video footage showed JL-10 advanced trainer jets carrying live missiles, and Chinese military pilots were heard warning Philippine aircraft to leave the 'territorial airspace'.
