Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon kill 7, wound 20 after Hezbollah drone attack on troops

Israeli forces conducted airstrikes in southern Lebanon, resulting in seven fatalities and 20 injuries, according to Lebanese authorities. These strikes were a response to Hezbollah launching two explosive drones targeting Israeli troops operating in the Ali Taher Ridge area. The Israel Defense Forces stated that one drone was intercepted and no soldiers were injured in the attack, which they described as a "blatant violation" of the ceasefire. The IDF confirmed striking Hezbollah infrastructure and operatives in retaliation. Lebanese media reported that one of the Israeli strikes destroyed Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, which was reportedly disused and empty of patients and staff.
