Israeli airstrikes on a village in southern Lebanon kill 9 people, wound 13

Israel's air force carried out two airstrikes early Monday on Kfar Rumman, a southern Lebanese village, killing at least nine people, including women and children, and wounding others. The strikes came amid an escalation with Hezbollah, days after Israel's military claimed operational control of the Ali Taher hill.
