US denies Iranian claims of strikes on two navy destroyers

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) denied claims by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that Iranian forces struck two U.S. Navy destroyers operating in the Middle East. CENTCOM stated that no U.S. Navy warship had been struck and all attempted IRGC attacks failed, adding that U.S. forces had destroyed ten Iranian tankers over the past week.
