Ukraine's Defense Ministry has authorized 81 private companies to establish their own air defense units to counter Russian drone attacks, an increase from 51 in mid-July. This program aims to enable businesses to protect their facilities and workers, thereby reducing the strain on military air defenses, which are facing increased pressure from Russia's near-constant drone bombardments.
