Russia Reports Capturing Two Ukrainian Towns and Downing Numerous Drones

Russia's Defense Ministry announced on September 30 that its forces captured Kridianka and Veselyi Pol in Ukraine's Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, respectively. The ministry also claimed to have intercepted 768 Ukrainian drones and destroyed three guided aerial bombs and one US-made HIMARS system within 24 hours. These claims indicate continued active combat and territorial shifts in the ongoing conflict.
