US Prepares to Deploy Third Aircraft Carrier and Thousands of Troops to Middle East Amid Iran Tensions

The United States is dispatching approximately 9,000-10,000 sailors and Marines, along with a third aircraft carrier (USS Theodore Roosevelt) and an amphibious readiness group (USS Makin Island), to the Middle East. This significant naval buildup could bring three American aircraft carriers to the region by late October or November, as President Donald Trump considers renewed military action against Iran and diplomatic efforts remain stalled in the eight-month-old US-Iran conflict.
