Saudi Arabia Plans Major Offensive Against Houthis to Secure Red Sea Shipping

Saudi Arabia and Yemeni government forces are preparing a significant counteroffensive against Iran-backed Houthi militants in Yemen. The operation aims to retake control of the Bab al-Mandeb strait, a strategic Red Sea passage, and is expected in the coming weeks, supported by Saudi air strikes. More than 100,000 Yemeni troops could be mobilized.
