Taiwan Flags 'Obvious' Threat from Over 50 Chinese Naval and Official Vessels in Regional Waters

Taiwan's National Security Council Secretary-General Joseph Wu stated that more than 50 Chinese naval and other official vessels are operating across a vast stretch of waters from southern Japan to Taiwan and off the Philippines, describing the threat as 'obvious'. Japan's Defense Ministry also tracked three Chinese warships and a Coast Guard vessel passing through the Osumi Strait into the Pacific Ocean the previous day.
