Russian Defense Ministry announces capture of Barylivka in Sumy Oblast, thwarts Ukrainian troop rotation

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that units from the 41st Motorized Rifle Regiment captured the town of Barylivka in the Sumy Oblast following an offensive operation targeting Ukrainian defensive positions. The Ministry also reported thwarting a Ukrainian troop rotation on the Orikhiv axis and destroying Ukrainian military positions, including drone control points and a temporary troop deployment site.
