NASA CubeSat Commences Radio Wave Study in Orbit

A NASA CubeSat, named CANVAS, has officially begun its mission to analyze very low frequency (VLF) radio waves from low Earth orbit. Launched earlier this month, the satellite aims to measure how much VLF energy originating from Earth penetrates the upper atmosphere. This research is expected to yield vital information for predicting and understanding alterations within the near-Earth space environment.
