New Theoretical Framework Proposed for High Energy Physics

A new preprint proposes the Spurion Massive EFT (SMEFT), an amplitude formulation designed for high energy physics. This framework enables a spurion analysis of SMEFT low-energy amplitudes, expressed in terms of the Higgs vacuum expectation value. The research details the expression of SMEFT contact-terms as sums of spurion structures and derives expansions for W- and Z-boson masses, mixing, and their couplings to fermions.
