Gigantic Prehistoric Snake Discovered in India

Researchers in India have unearthed the fossilized remains of *Vasuki indicus*, an enormous ancient snake. Estimated to measure between 11 and 15 meters, its size potentially rivals that of *Titanoboa*, one of the largest known snakes. This species lived approximately 47 million years ago and is believed to have been a slow, ambush predator.
