CERN Achieves First Controlled Transport of Antimatter

CERN's BASE collaboration has successfully transported 92 antiprotons in a portable trap around its Meyrin site. This pioneering experiment, conducted on March 24, 2026, marks the first controlled and reversible movement of antimatter. The achievement could enable more precise fundamental physics tests by relocating measurements to quieter environments.
