Study Links HER2 Expression to Aggressive Endometrial Cancer Characteristics

New research indicates that HER2-positive tumors are present in about one-sixth of endometrial cancer patients. These tumors are strongly associated with aggressive features, high-risk histologies, and p53 overexpression. The findings reinforce HER2's importance as a biomarker for severe disease and a potential target for new therapies in high-risk endometrial carcinoma.
