ESA Contracts for 12-Satellite Maritime Surveillance Constellation
The European Space Agency (ESA) has awarded a €10.9 million contract to AAC Clyde Space for the development and in-orbit demonstration of a 12-satellite constellation. This new constellation will employ VDES technology to enhance maritime communications and surveillance capabilities. The project, part of the maritime INFLECION programme, is slated for completion by early 2029.
