ESA and EBRD Collaborate on Earth Observation for Development Finance

The European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have formed a partnership to promote the use of Earth observation data. This collaboration aims to utilize satellite information, such as from the Copernicus Sentinel-5P mission, to support development and impact finance initiatives. Early applications show that major cities are achieving economic growth while simultaneously reducing nitrogen dioxide emissions.
