NOAA Monitors Initial Atlantic Tropical Disturbance for 2026 Season

NOAA's National Hurricane Center is tracking the first Atlantic disturbance of the 2026 hurricane season in the Bay of Campeche. While a broad low-pressure area may form, conditions are not expected to support significant development. The system is forecast to move inland over eastern Mexico by the weekend.
