NOAA's SOLAR-1 Observatory Begins Space Weather Monitoring Operations

NOAA's Space weather Observations at L1 to Advance Readiness – 1 (SOLAR-1) observatory has officially commenced operational service. This marks a significant enhancement in the nation's ability to monitor space weather events. As the first U.S. satellite solely dedicated to continuous operational space weather observations, it offers improved performance and faster data delivery to NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center.
