NASA Concludes MAVEN Mission to Mars After Communication Loss
NASA has announced the end of its Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) mission following a loss of communication with the satellite. After 13 years of studying the Martian atmosphere, the spacecraft is deemed unrecoverable. The mission concluded after it failed to re-establish contact following a pass behind Mars.
