Lawmakers Urge NSF to Halt Dismantling of Ocean Monitoring Network

A group of US lawmakers has formally requested that the National Science Foundation reconsider its decision to decommission a long-standing deep-ocean observation network. The NSF had previously announced the commencement of instrument recovery from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
