DOE Funds New System for Accelerated Critical Mineral Discovery

A consortium including Fieldstone Bio, TerraCore, and MIT has secured a U.S. Department of Energy contract. The funding will facilitate the creation of a portable system designed for the rapid, non-destructive identification of critical minerals in drill cores. This innovative approach, combining microbial sensors and hyperspectral cameras, aims to drastically speed up the discovery of essential minerals.
